Ultratorchs are the original butane powered, multifunctional, portable soldering irons, flameless butane tools, and butane torches.  It’s the most complete line of butane powered soldering iron / butane tools on the market. They are completely cordless, running on butane refill fuel. This means no AC current or battery is required.  There is no leakage or radio interference.  These unique butane tools perform a variety of tasks… from soldering and desoldering to shrinking and terminating insulated solder performs and environmental splices.  They are lightweight and easy to handle, so you can carry them with you to any job.  

All Ultratorch® butane tools feature Ultratip® soldering tips. Ultratip is the long lasting, oxygen-free, copper based, iron and chrome plated soldering tip with a built-in catalyst, tinned with lead-free solder.

Ultratorch butane tools with Ultratip technology are the perfect soldering tools for use with today’s lead-free soldering materials. In fact, Ultratip soldering tips have more than double the iron plating thickness of our competitor’s brass based tips, providing higher thermal conductivity and superior tip life.

The EconoIron is an economical, refillable, butane gas powered soldering iron, heat tool, torch and hot knife. Completely portable, lightweight and easy to handle, the EconoIron does not require cords, batteries, or cartridges. It has adjustable temperature control that quickly regulates power to the tip, equivalent to a 10 to 60 watt soldering iron. A built-in window indicates fuel level.

Also available as a kit, which includes the tool, a plastic case with tool rest, solder tip, flameless heat tip, torch tip, hot knife tip, cleaner sponge, and a roll of 60/40 solder.

The Master Model GG-100 and GG-100K Portapro Glue Gun is a cordless, self igniting, butane powered hotmelt glue gun and kit. The Portapro is completely portable and lets you work almost anywhere.  It has the power and durability to get the job done in industrial and commercial applications. The unit can run continuously for up to 140 minutes on a full tank of butane gas and is easily refilled in 20 seconds. It has fast and easy start up with a push button piezo ignition system and reaches working temperature in just 3 to 4 minutes.  You get fast and even adhesive flow with standard ½” (12 mm) diameter glue sticks.  The 200 watt heater delivers up to 1.9 lbs. of glue per hour.  A safety lock on the fuel control wheel prevents unintentional gas flow and instant glue flow cut-off reduces dripping.  The Portapro has a built-in folding stand and fuel level viewing window for ease of use.  There are four interchangeable brass application nozzles available and optional glue sticks for special applications.

Master Ultratane Butane products are the only butane recommended to fuel all Master butane tools.  It’s the perfect fuel for filling and refilling Master Microtorches, Ultratorch Soldering Irons / Butane tools, and Portapro Glue Guns plus other butane products.  Ultratane is available in 3 convenient sizes: 5 1/8 oz (145 gram), 3 ¾ oz (106 gram), and 15/16 oz (26 gram) canisters.  Our 3 ¾ oz and 15/16 oz sizes meet ORM-D consumer commodity class and can be shipped via ground transportation without hazardous material charges.  Ultratane butane products have a triple refined, “non-clogging” formula  that prevents clogging of internal filters and a special vapor pressure, which promote consistent self ignition of butane tools.  It also contains no CFCs (chlorofluorocarbons) and will not harm the ozone layer.

Each canister comes with a convenient, single piece filler tip, which fits multiple size orifices.  Shipping cartons are pre-marked and labeled per Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.  For best performance, use Master Ultratane Butane products with your butane tools.
